In March 2022 nine Lützerath Lebt activists decided to join „la Caravana por el Agua y la Vida“ in Mexico to support the local fights of their Mexican CompañerXs. Together they fight against expropriation and exploitation, suppression and discrimination and for their indigenous self-determination. Together they fight with mothers, daughters and sisters for the freedom of their imprisoned husbands, sons and brothers. Together they fight for women‘s rights. Together they fight against climate catastrophe and capitalism. The fear of repression, political persecution by the state and assassination is always present. During their journey the fight against patriarchal structures gets more and more the core of the matter.
