Y-Topia questions the system in which we all live. The activists Indigo, Ronni and Dina live amidst radical experiences of the protest movement in Lützerath at Garzweiler II open-cast brown coal mine. From construction to demolition of the occupation, they fight against the destruction caused by the energy company RWE. They question the connections between climate change, capitalism, patriarchy and the exploitation of the global south. Indigo, Ronni and Dina want to change society and create their own Utopia. Utopia as a process. No Utopia while here and now.
